2019 is an extremely important year for the development of assembly type. Recently, Beijing issued relevant documents to actively promote the development of prefabricated buildings.

Since Beijing issued the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Prefabricated Buildings" (Beijing Zhengfa [2017] No.8) in 2017, Beijing has always taken the implementation opinions as the focus of its work, adhering to the development concepts of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness and sharing to promote the innovation of construction methods and actively promote the development of prefabricated buildings. According to statistics, in 2017, Beijing's newly built prefabricated construction area was 4.49 million square meters, accounting for 15% of the city's total construction area; in 2018, Beijing's newly built prefabricated construction area was 13.37 million square meters, accounting for 29% of the city's total construction area. The proportion of prefabricated buildings in Beijing in new construction has continued to increase, and the annual target has been exceeded for two consecutive years.

In 2019, Beijing will clarify the development direction of the next stage of prefabricated buildings, strengthen the supervision and guidance of all aspects of prefabricated construction projects, and strive to reach more than 25% of the newly started area of prefabricated buildings in 2019!

As the capital of our country, Beijing is the weather vane of all provinces and cities in every move. It is foreseeable that the housing and urban-rural development departments of various provinces will also take further steps to promote the development of prefabricated buildings.
